PC Version BlackShark V3 Pro Not Fully Compatible with PS5?

Does the PC version of this headset work properly on PS5, or is the advertising misleading? I have the PC version, and while it works fine on PC, when using it wirelessly with the dongle on PS5, the audio stops after a short time. I purchased it from Best Buy, and the listing only stated it was compatible with all systems, without mentioning it was primarily for PC.

 

This is frustrating, as I recently bought a PS5 specifically to use this headset. If it doesn’t fully support PS5, this should be clearly stated in the product listing.

    Yeah, this is the problem I'm afraid to run into as well. If you see a Playstation Official Product seal of approval, with blue motifs, then it was made with that in mind.

     I got a warranty back from my Pulse Elite breaking a *second* time and thought maybe this time I'll buy a different brand. Researched a ton and the Blackshark V3 came out on top, only problem is, the regular $150 version is out of stock? or not available on Amazon for Playstation (with blue wire accents and headband). My warranty refund *only* works through amazon.

    They have the normal black colored wires and motifs for the PC version on sale like you said, but without the Playstayion seal of approval. My only Playstation official options are to go lower with the Hyperspeed headset or go above for the Pro version, which currently isnt on sale.

    I tried reaching support or contacting literally anybody about this question but their support is apparently only useful if you've already bought a product with a serial code first. So I'm in the same boat and assume that buying a PC first headset isn't a good idea for PS5. I saw a review for the $150 PC V3, with a dad complaining that it didn't work on his son's PS5. Surprise surprise, as the same headset for PS5 isn't on Amazon for some reason.
