[MacOS 10.15.3, Catalina]

I purchased a Razor Naga and to be frank, I am so under-impressed you cannot imagine.

  • Whilst the ergonomics of the mouse may be suited to a child, it is very difficult to use as an adult. My hand is too large for the size of the mouse and the locations of the buttons on the side panel. I've had to revert to the two-button panel to be able to use it effectively. With the other panels, I continuously press the side buttons by accident which causes unintended actions on my computer.

  • I also am frequently experiencing double clicks with both the left and right buttons where it should only be a single click. This again can lead to drastic unintended actions on my computer.

  • Under MacOS 10.15.3 (Catalina), Razor Synapse does not recognise my mouse after a reboot, forcing me to unplug and re-plug my mouse each time I start my computer.

  • Lastly, I loath the fact that I need to be connected online in order to be able to use my mouse with my profile. I do not want to share my settings with anyone and have no need for 'cloud' storage. I don't use the cloud at all and certainly don't plug my mouse into my phone.

I am seriously considering tossing the mouse in the bin and buying some other brand.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Naga concern on our support board. Are you referring to the Razer Naga Trinity? Apologies if its ergonomics does not suit your palm. This is something that Razer can improve in our next product release. By the way, Razer Naga Trinity is only compatible with Razer Synapse 3.0 which is not available in MacOS. Razer created Razer Synapse so the user can easily load their profiles/macros to their devices. This is handy when logging in to another computer with Razer Synapse installed. You can always logout from Razer Synapse so you can secure your Synapse account including its profile/macros. I recommend sending Razer feedback so our devs can review it by clicking this link: https://mysupport.razer.com/
