Possible vapor chamber leak blade 17? | Razer Insider

I was wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of what the symptoms of a faulty vapor chamber would be. My 17” has been running slightly hot so I decided to open it up and have a look. There’s some very light brownish colored, almost oil randomly around the heatsink, and I noticed it on my table after putting it

Back together also. The computer runs very hot, the gpu reaching 85c even at idle within about 20 seconds of booting into windows. The cpu sits at around 75c. I haven’t let it sit on for

Very long because the gpu temps keep rising fast. The fans are running full speed. I think I may be to blame for making the problem worse when I opened it up.

Could this be the symptoms of a dried out chamber (cracked or leaking).

Sorry to hear about what's happening to our Razer Blade 17. And though you are right (opening the laptop could've made the situation worse - warranty exclusions), the device needs to be checked as it can potentially damage your unit's internal components. Feel free to submit a case to our Support Team or send me a PM so I can help you initiate a support ticket.
