My current adapter is a bit frayed and it's overheating and causing the system to draw from the battery. Eventually my battery runs out of juice and the whole system shuts down in the middle of a game. I'm curious if the 180w adapter will work or if I need to go find an old 165w one on eBay since it's a legacy product? I think voltage wise I should be within tolerance so it's more a question of if the plug will fit. I'm also aware of third party solutions, but I'm willing to pay a bit extra for the smaller form factor the OEM version has.
