Pro 17 (2020) rapidly changes from charging to not charging while plugged in. Other threads all get PM locked, so can’t find solution.

To add, the charger is original and powers identical pro 17 (2020) when used, so problem is confirmed to be with the laptop NOT the charger.

For further isolation did you already try the steps here? If that didn't help, that's highly likely a hardware issue. I will start a case and forward it to the RMA Team. Providing the serial number through PM will be a great start. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PM.
