Device / software
- Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition (PID 0x00C7 / productId 199)
- Razer Synapse 4.0.827 (RazerAppEngine app-4.0.827), Windows 11 Home 24H2 (build 26200)

Problem

My mouse DPI is set to a custom value in the Default App Profile (1800). Whenever Synapse auto-switches to an App Profile I created myself (e.g. for vivaldi.exe or explorer.exe), the mouse DPI jumps to 1600. When it switches back, the DPI returns to my custom value. The same happens with every other app profile that I added myself.

Apps that only use Razer's pre-installed profiles (Chrome, Teams, Office, Adobe) do not cause the jump.

What I found (from the Synapse logs in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Razer\RazerAppEngine\User Data\Logs)
- Every App Profile I created contains a dpiStages block with the factory defaults: stages 400/800/1600/3200/6400, "active":3, "enable":false. Stage 3 is 1600, which matches the jump.
- Razer's pre-installed profiles and the Default App Profile contain no dpiStages block, and they do not cause a jump.
- When I delete a profile and re-create it, the same dpiStages template is attached immediately.
- The DPI value stored in the profile itself ("dpi":{"x":1800,"y":1800}) has no effect on what is applied.
- I edited the stored profile data on disk (IndexedDB) so that stage 3 was 4000. After restarting Synapse, it overwrote the value with 1600 again, so the template is regenerated by Synapse itself.
- It is not a Windows pointer setting, and there is no registry key involved. I checked HKCU\Control Panel\Mouse and all Razer registry keys.

Why I think this is a design gap

Razer's own guide for this mouse says "An App Profile is a set of button mappings specific to one app", and the UI offers no DPI setting per App Profile. So I cannot change the DPI stages of an App Profile anywhere. This thread describes the same limitation, with no reply so far: https://insider.razer.com/mice-and-surfaces-9/pro-click-v2-cannot-set-dpi-settings-per-app-profile-81145

Expected behavior
Switching App Profiles should not change the mouse DPI. Either the App Profile should leave the DPI untouched, or it should have its own DPI/sensitivity setting that I can edit.

Current workaround
Delete all user-created App Profiles or set Profile Switching to "Manual Selection". Then the DPI stays stable, but I lose the per-app button mappings that I want to keep.

Questions
1. Is this intended behavior for the Pro Click V2, or a bug?
2. Is there a setting to stop App Profiles from applying their DPI stages?
3. Can DPI per App Profile be added in a future Synapse 4 update?
