Problem with 7.1 surround sound after uninstalling another sound app

Hi. I recently bought a Kraken X lite and it came with a 7.1 surround sound activation code. I recently uninstalled RTX sound thingie application and it messed up the 7.1 surround sound. When using the surround sound as the system playback, lowering or raising the system sound does not affect the outcoming sound and I have to change volume manually from the apps I'm using or directly with the headset volume wheel. My question is, is there any way to fix this issue? and if there isn't, will I be able to use the activation code again if I try to uninstall and reinstall 7.1 surround sound app? And if that isn't possible either, any other suggestions for me? Thank you

Can you specify which RTX audio app you installed? Have you tried uninstalling that yet? For now, you can try to reinstall the 7.1 surround app. Don't worry about the reactivation. As long as you follow this guide for the most part and log in using the same account, you won't need another activation code. Do send me a message should you need further assistance. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
