So I have a Razer Kraken Pro V2 and for a long time I didn't know why the audio from my pc was playbacking into my microphone (everyone can listen to what I'm listening to, even their own voices). Recently I discovered the problem is with the volume rocker (the thing you can turn volume up and down and also mute the microphone). Whenever I mute my mic it just does a ungodly horrible sound for everyone in a call xender. I'm on my way on buying a new one but I wouldn't like to just trash this one. My question is: is it possible to just cut both ends from the volume rocker and resold the cables again? I'd like to have this information confirmed because the audio part of the headset is still fine. I'm afraid that in the process I just fuck up everything and lose the good part it still has.
