Hello to everybody!Just purchased a razer ornata v3x.So,i dont know many things about synapses 3/ 4 and stuff,but the problem is that i downloaded synapse 4,i updated the app and stuff and its says that i need a firmware update for my keyboard with orange letters.I press the view online button on the right side,and i get redirected to the browser(google chrome)to a razer page that says error 404.Did i do something wrong during installation?I dought that to be honest.Keyboard works just fine,but it gets on my nerve to see this message every time,because it kinda reminds me that i have done something.

Problem with razer ornata v3 x and firmware updates.
This just showed up for me as well. Same problem, Razer Synapse notifies me of a required firmware update for my Ornata V3 X and sends me to a 404 page. I tried manually going to the keyboard’s support page and there isn’t even a section for Drivers & Downloads like other devices have.
Yes!!Exactly the same,exact versions everything is the same,i dont what we should do.I searched again and again and nothing seems to help.I hope some expert sees this.
The keyboard is still functioning same as always so I’m not too worried about it being a big problem. Having the notification I can’t do anything about is more annoying than anything.

Im having the exact same issue , even if i download the software to update ornata v3 x , it seems it just doesnt recognize…
Has anyone attempted to play with the keyboard? As far as typing and navigating as normal I haven’t noticed any issues with it. But yes, I also have the “required firmware update” notification, and there is no firmware update downloader on their site. They don’t even have the model listed. I would like to assume it is a Synapse issue, rather than the keyboard actually needing an update….since it’s a wired keyboard. I am hoping some clarity comes soon. I am headed to attempt some gaming, if something isn’t working I will report back.

im having this exact problem, this seems to be very recent hopefully razor will be made aware of the issue and resolve it
No functioning problems just the firmware update notification.All in all the keyboard works just fine,to be honest i am thinking of deleting the synapse app,until the problem gets solved.I dont need it that much i guess,and i wont see the firmware update notification every time i open it.
I'm having the same problem as well. I thought my browser was the issue, but it turns out that other people are experiencing the same problem. So, I'm guessing this is just a problem on Synapse's side, and I'm hoping we'll get some kind of clarification from them.
Here to tag on as another user seeing this issue. Update “warning” in synapse but a dead 404 link being opened
Same here. Got the same ORANGE notification on Synapse. Can’t even update it. 404 error. LOL
Hope RAZER can fix their own firmware updates page.
Luckily I found this thread, it makes me feel a little better not to be the only one.. but that damn notification is really annoying

Just wanted to come back in here and say that as far as I can tell...everything is working normally. I do think it is probably just a synapse bug right now.
Has anyone gotten that firmware update” notification before? I wonder if they’re working on/testing a widget in synapse that actually allows for firmware updates and such...maybe we are just on the back end of it.
Update: The page now leads to a firmware updater download page, but it lists RZ03-0488x is the applicable model while I am using RZ03-0447 device.. I’m not sure if this firmware is for my device or not?
Despite the oddity in the listed applicable model it seems like it’s the correct firmware update. It does a check for the hardware before installing and I haven’t had any issues so far.
So guys,just updated the firmware that “view online”command lead to in the browser,and i can say that i dont have the orange notification any more.You all can try updating and see what you get.Good luck to everybody
