Problem wtih charging LED on razer thresher 7.1 for ps4

Hey, I have the razer thresher 7.1 wireless headset for the ps4. I've owned it for over a year now I think and it's worked wonderfully so far. My only concern is that yesterday I put it to charge and the led turned red as it would normally;however, a little later it turned off so I just thought something got disconnected but after multiple trials it would not work. I've checked using multiple cables and made sure they all are working and charge other products, and the led is working as it lights up blue when I turn on the headset. What could the problem be, and is there any other way to know if my headset is charging or not.
