Problems with Razer Kraken X 7.1

Hello There

So I bought this headset a while back and couldn't get it to work. Here I am again trying to get it to work but it isn't. My laptop doesn't require two separate plug-ins (as included), my laptop only has one jack, which literally has a headset symbol. When I plug in the headset, nothing at all pops up on my screen and I have ZERO sound. I can't even change the output device because it isn't showing up. Someone help me please! I also have 7.1 surround sound installed already if that helps.

Hey there! Thanks for posting your headset's concern here. And yes, laptops have an audio/mic combo ports and doesn't need a 3.5mm splitter. Also, Razer Synapse only detects USB type and Chroma enabled devices. Have you checked which audio device is selected under Windows sound properties?
