Product Activation Code Problem

I recently received my new Kraken X headset. I received the activation code for the surround sound software with it, but when I scratched off the top part with a key, the code itself was also scratched off.



I instead had to register the product manually on my account. Now that I registered the product successfully, I still can't access the surround sound program. I tried reinstalling and logging back into it and nothing. I've also read elsewhere that others have registered it and the software started working. However, that wasn't the case for me. What's the solution to this problem?
