Profile or Synapse 4 doesn't boot on startup

Thank god it isnt just me +1 on this has been driving me wild.

Hello :) I uninstalled Synapse 4 and reinstall Synapse 3, everything works perfectly… 

They realldy did a bad job with the 4th one...

Funnily enough I done the same.

It basically ruined both mouse and tartarus overnight.

Have the same exact issue, ALL of my razer devices - Mixer, mousepad, keyboard, mouse, mouse bungee, and headset all sit at RGB rainbow and have NO functionality with my Mixer and other devices UNTIL I load Synapse) and synapse is set to load on startup and minimize to the desktop). Once the app loads on the desktop, I can see all of the devices filling in in tabs at the top, then viola! my profiles load and I can now use my mixer to stream.

This is a huge bug, it’s got to be affecting a lot of people and having this happen right after the launch of the new synapse? Not confidence building, to say the least. I DID import my profiles from S3, so I tried setting up a new profile with the same settings, selecting that and rebooting, and it does the same thing.

Well for me it worked until yesterday…. I went back to 3 otherwise the mouse was about to get through the window :D

As I finished typing this, I was creating new profiles in Synapse and it crashed lol.

my razorblade 15 advanced on boot it synapse engine appears in system tray but I have to manually open synapse for my custom lighting, but its just static, I have to load the customize tab for it to start the animations

Yeah I think it’s the same for all oh us here :///
Uninstall it and install Synapse 3 - I don’t have any trouble since I did.

i have to say i never previously had an issue with synapse4, but i had to reformat and install my pc2 days ago and synapse is currently not loading on boot (with stops me from effectivly using my KVM) and doesnt load the devices until i manually open synapse from tray.

rzr i love you, but this was a BIG oopsie.

Please fix ASAP

going to downgrade to 3 in the meanwhile.

I’m having the same issue all of a sudden.
I did upgrade to a new GPU and PSU and though I might have somehow messed things up.

Glad (or sad?) that it isn’t just me.

I have noticed that when I open Chroma that when the tabs load my middle mouse button and all my devices’ lighting starts to work. This tells me that even though the app loads at start up, that tabs/modules don’t automatically load.

I’ll stick with Synapse4 for a little bit in hopes that an update will be out soon.

Edit: Thinking about what I wrote, I disabled the minimise to tray setting in the Chroma App. It worked but I have minimise the app every time which is a minor inconvenience ATM

Hi, Same issue, profile is not loading automatically. Need manual start. Problem came last 2 days.

Same here it’s been driving my OCD crazy all morning! Been trying everything to get it to work properly. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!

It’s been happening to me every day since I upgraded to 4. You have to launch Synapse manually on startup to get it to load your profiles. It’s so annoying. I wish I never upgraded.

The upgrade also completely erased my profiles for RGB and key mapping, so I had to remake everything.

Had Nvidia 580.88 installed and on every reboot Synapse 4 and Chroma did not auto start. Installed Nvidia 577.00 and on every reboot Synapse 4 and Chroma auto starts.

Same for me, on a Windows 10 and a Windows 11 machine

I no longer have this problem today.
There was a Nvidia update today but I don’t know if they are related, like with ​@arvehobberstad.

Same here. It’s finally working again. I think they fixed it.

I had 580.88 installed and it did not start on reboot so I installed 577.00 and then it started on reboot. Now I installed 580.97 and it still starts on reboot. I think that 580.88 did something to prevent Synapse 4 and chroma from auto starting with minimized to tray option ticked.

Nvidia update didn't didn't change anything for me. I still have to manually open Synapse 4 even if it booted on startup and it is on the try to load my profiles. I also have an issue where the energy saving settings that I use to save battery and turn off the lights after a few minutes won't turn the lights back on for the keyboard when using it again

I have the same issue, but it isn’t consistent.  Sometimes I start my machine and its fine other times the profile fails to load and I have to open the software to make it recognize that I have an active profile.

Also, when leaving a game for some reason there is a chance that a key gets “stuck” digitally and the only fix is to restart the software.  All of these things only started happening when they updated their software. 

I contacted support about this and they seem indifferent and just closed my ticket without even acknowledging that they have an issue with their software.

Issue is mitigated but persists.

Profile load on startup while not logged in to windows is still much slower than it was.

Would love a Razer official comment on this.

  Same issue for me. And my graphic card is AMD 7900XT so is not just about NVDIA.

And I tried to reinstall synapse even Windows 11 and not work.

I use 3  way to contact customer services, they  have not idea at all.

Still haven’t fixed it. It’s crazy cause I even get the notification on the bottom right of my screen saying my razer profile launched on startup but it didn’t lol. I always have to manually go on razer synapse to change the settings, for example,

I am using razer nommo chroma speakers and I always use a music equalizer preset as it’s much more clearer and crisp for audio, but even when I get the notification that it launched that music preset, the sound says otherwise >:( so I always have to manually switch it back off and on again in the synapse 4. 

Also they removed synapse 3 im pretty sure.
