Putting RAID 0 into AHCI modem causes drives to disappear from BIOS

I'm trying to put the RAID 0 (1tb x2 SSD) in a Razer Blade Pro late-2016 model into AHCI mode. This causes the drives to disappear completely from the BIOS. Restarting the laptop just causes it to go into the BIOS automatically... I imagine because it can't find any drives. How do I get the system to recognize the drives after switching to AHCI?
