Question on Thunderbolt Dock/Laptop Stand

Hey all Just got into PC gaming after using Mac during college for years. I ordered a 15 in laptop, mouse, keyboard, and thunderbolt dock all from Razer. I want to order a laptop stand now to place next to my 27 in monitor, but saw that the new Razer v2 laptop stand acted as a USB hub as well. If I used this in tandem with my thunderbolt dock, would it cause any issues? Or alternatively is there any certain way I should go about it? Do I plug the laptop stand into the thunderbolt or my computer? Sorry if these are basic questions, I'm still pretty new to this!
