Hello redditors! I am considering buying a Tartarus V2 (or pro) and I came to you for advice.
My current situation: I am using my trusty Logitech G13, mainly next to my joystick to fly around in Elite Dangerous. I am making full use of its analog stick to control my thrusters. But since its keys are not mechanical, I am considering switching to Tartarus. So, my questions are:
Is the thumbstick on Tartarus V2 (or Pro) an analog stick, or an 8-directional d-pad? Can it function as an analog stick in any shape, way or form?

If I wanted to choose between V2 and Pro; would the optical switches justify the price increase? I researched the difference between them and I know the analog input of the optical switches but since I've never used anything like it before, I don't know if it's a really nice feature, or a not-very-useful gimmick.
Are the analog switches truly analog (0 to 1) and programmable as such, or do they just have two trigger points and that's it?
Thank you a lot for reading my questions, and even more if you answer them!. Take care, stay safe.
