Hello everyone! I received a Kraken V3 Hypersense headset for Christmas. Everything works great, but I am having a bit of confusion regarding the THX spatial sound function.
Is it necessary to install and run the separate THX spatial sound app? I noticed there are options to control the headset located both in Synapse and the THX app, but changing the settings in one app seems to cause issues with the other.
First time I've ever owned a headset with these features so I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on anything. Thanks for reading and I appreciate any assistance! Happy holidays.

I’ve had a Razer Kraken Kitty for a year or two, which also has THX Spatial. I’ve never installed a THX app or external software. You can download/purchase(?) THX Spatial from their website, but I believe that might only apply to hardware that doesn’t already have it built in.
In your case and my case, it has THX Spatial, which you can edit in Synapse 3. So there isn’t a need to download any other app or software for it as far as I’m aware.
