The CPU boost behavior on this laptop is far too aggressive. In HWiNFO, I can see that the CPU power limit is set to around 150 W for PL1 and 175 W for PL2. As a result, the system experiences very high temperature volatility, frequent thermal spikes, and this appears to contribute to more frequent BSODs and unexpected restarts caused by overheating. The BIOS is extremely limited and does not allow the user to adjust CPU power limits such as PL1 and PL2, unlike on Alienware laptops. Unfortunately, Razer Synapse is also practically useless in this regard, as it does not provide proper control over these critical power settings.
Not pay around lota cash for a laptop just to be forced to disable Turbo Boost in order to make the system stable. This machine should be able to operate reliably without requiring such extreme workarounds. Please provide a proper BIOS or software-level solution that allows users to control CPU power limits L1 L2 for personal improve thermal stability.
