Razer 14 2021 - erratic touchpad scroll

Hi guys, Purchased a new Razer 14 (Ryzen 9 / RTX 3070) for about £2100. Laptop is only a few months old but I've noticed that when I scroll down with 2 fingers, its very erratic - sometimes it scrolls back up , sometimes it jumps up and then goes down. Its not smooth at all. I have only noticed this recently as I've mostly used the laptop with an external mouse. I have looked online and found other people complaining about the same issue but without any real fix. I have already tried to:

• Update Touchpad drivers
• Uninstall / install Touchpad drivers
• Remove / Reinstall Synapse

Honestly can't believe something like this can pass QA from Razer. Is there a fix or do I need to return for repair ?
