Razer 14' Laptop Capping to 40 fps while on charge.

So when i play some games like rocket league, csgo, Call of Duty, etc, while my laptop is on charge I can get 60fps no problem, but for some reason when I play games like destiny 2 or scrap mechanic while charging it capes the game at 40 fps, but when I unplug the laptop from the charger I am able to get 60 fps. I have tried going through my Nvidia setting but I cant find anything. Ive searched everywhere online, tried calling razer but they never seem to want to pick up the phone. Please help :).
