Razer 15.6 Base Model 2018 Faulty hinge

The hinges on my new Razer Blade 15.6 2018 Base Model seem faulty as the laptop does not close firmly.

Sometimes after closing the lid it will pop back open slightly like a spring. Never experienced such a fault in any laptop before.

Considering the build quality you think it should be flush.

Does anyone have a similar issue ?

The laptop springs open to this after shutting the lid. Unless held down for a few seconds. This is not normal in any way and has been doing it out of the box.
