The issue seems very similar to this one:
My Razer Blade 16 Mercury (2023) is the model with the 4080 and i9. I believe the model number is RZ09-0483.
After a standard shutdown, on restart it can’t get past post. Please note that I was connected to a CalDigital TB4 hub but the laptop was powered by the AC adapter that came with the laptop.
Hitting any of the buttons to proceed in anyway (f1/del, f12, etc…) has no response. Fans fire up and keyboard has the default color rotating pattern running. Fans seemed to fire up to max. Had to hold down power because single press doesn’t work from post.
What I’ve tried so far:
- disconnecting TB4 dock and all peripherals and trying to boot.
- disconnecting from AC adapter and trying to boot.
- Attempted multiple times to do an EC / power reset. I did this by removing all peripherals and connect original ac adapter and holding power button to turn on machine, continuing to hold for 15 seconds until power led blinks and laptop shuts down.
- With ac detached, turned on laptop and left it until power runs down and laptop shut down.
None of these steps did any good. It still stays at post and doesn’t respond to the keys to repair, look at boot options, or enter bios.
I’m not sure how to proceed.
