Razer 7.1 Surround Sound No Audio

So I've gone through the available fixes, making sure that the audio I want is the default device, turning off exclusive control in the properties, ensuring I had 7.1 Surround as the speaker and having the correct audio device connected, but to absolutely no avail.

I own (Rather recently purchased, and I know they are funcitonal) Razer Kraken 7.1 headphones. They work fantastically, and I was hoping to up the gaming experience a little more with this addition. Here's the thing, my laptops audio card broke some time ago, and nothing is ever detected by the audio jacks. I had been using a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter to use the headphones thus far, and they worked, just not with 7.1 Surround.

Today exactly I received an External Sound Card that connects via USB-C to my computer so that I could properly use the splitter and, I was hoping, also enhance the audio quality through 7.1 Surround, but that has turned out not to work either.

When I check the Sound Control Panel, it does show that 7.1 Surround is receiving audio, but it is not transferring said audio to the chosen source (Marked in this case as Cable Creation(Speakers)). Hope anyone can help, been at this for about a month and a half now, and have been kinda bummed out about it.

You might have the same problem as I, not due to the PC's audio card, but because of the Surround Sound app not working. It runs smoothly but doesn't send sound to the headphones.
