Razer Atheris dead after firmware update

I followed the instructions here https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/479/~/why-is-my-razer-atheris-unable-to-reconnect-to-my-mac%3F 1) Download the update 2) Switch to 2.4 GHz and connect via dongle. During the firmware update it says "reconnect your device" and I reconnect the dongle. Now my mouse is dead. And in the device manager, the mouse is showing up as "Razer bootloader". Help, please. No firmware update should break my mouse.

If it's in bootloader mode, did you tried to run FW updater again?

Yes. I ran the firmware updater again but the "UPDATE" button is now grayed out.

Did you already try to reinstall the driver and use a different USB port for the dongle? If the same problem persists, PM me the serial number and share a copy of your receipt so I can start a case and forward it to the RMA Team if necessary. *Thread locked to curb conversation to PM.
