Razer Atheris Star Wars Stormtrooper Edition mouse

I have a Razer Atheris Star Wars Stormtrooper Edition mouse. It has worked great for years, but now it suddenly skips or stops working all together for a period of time. 

 

I have changed batteries and tried every USB port I have, and the issue persists. I tried an old mouse I had in storage (not Razer) and I don't have any issues.

 

I just bought a new Stormtrooper mouse to replace the original because I thought it was now defective considering the other mouse worked just fine. However, this new mouse has the exact same issue right out of the box! 

 

I am at a loss.

    have you check the BT mode?

    And at least some other PC / other device?

    I tried it on another computer and it works well

    So you have your answer then.

    I’d start doing clean reinstall (with Razer driver removal): 

    1. Uninstall Synapse
    2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
    3. Then restart your PC
    4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

    And if you’re using BT - then I’d also search for newer bluetooth driver version.
