I am having extreme trouble getting sound to come through any of the audio controllers. I want to use "Razer audio controller - Game" but I'm having odd issues, usually one of the following.

1. no sound at all.

2. hearing system sounds (the ping when I troubleshoot) and YouTube (of all things), but nothing else. additionally, I am unable to control or mute the sound levels using the system controls.



The computer says that I don't have enough USB resources, despite having very few items plugged in (standard peripherals and a USB Xbox controller) and having never had this issue before.



I can't get any sound using THX spatial - Synapse. I can get sound using "Razer audio controller - Chat", but some games like God of War 2018 have big sound issues

I've reinstalled Synapse twice, i've been examining the device manager for errors. I've run out of ideas.
