Razer B lade 15 no longer recognizes external hard drive

I have a 2022 Razer Blade 15 Advance Model (product number RZ09-0421NEG3-R3U1).  I have an external Seagate Backup Plus 4tb hard drive. My blade no longer recognizes the HD.  I have spent a few hours with Seagate customer support over the laste couple of days and together we have determined that there are no problems with the hard drive (I ran several recommended tests and even reformatted the drive using another laptop).  It works fine with my old Win10 laptop and my wife’s Win11 Microsoft surface pro.  I have tried to update the drivers for the HD (same driver that my wife’s laptop uses) and no success.  At least it is now showing up as a disk drive and not as an other device in Device Manager.  It does not show up on Disk Management.  At this time, it gives me an error: This device cannot start. (Code 10).  (this message also came up when I was updating the driver).  I have tried all the ports on my device so it’s not one port.  The laptop does recognize my Seagage FreeAgent GoFlex USB 1tb drive.  I even had both external HDs plugged in (for the hell of it) and  the Free Agent was still recognized but not the Backup Plus.  All firmware is up to date.  Win11 is up to date.  I no longer have access to online Razer customer support as it is out of warranty (curses!) so no help there.   I hoping someone here can help.
