Razer Baclshark v3 wired connection to xbox controller.

I have the Backshark v3 and I am wondering if its possible to connect this to my xbox controller via USB-C to 3.5 mm connection?  Based on the product details and some searching I have done, it seems like this might be possible but when I plug it in I get no audio.  Is there a specific cable type that I would need to use, or am I missing something?
