- Good afternoon. I bought Razer barracuda headphones. An activation key for 7.1 surround sound is provided with the junior barracuda x model, and the key is not supplied with barracuda and barracuda pro. The description of my headphones says that 7.1 works with THX spatial audio. But they didn't provide a key to it when buying (in a box or during registration). And I can't buy THX - it's not for sale in Russia. Tell me how to be, and what's the joke of selling a device that requires additional software, and not to give or sell the software itself.

The Razer Barracuda X (RZ04-0380) and Barracuda X 2022 (RZ04-0443) should receive the 7.1 Surround Sound activation code after product registration. Please refer to this article. On the other hand, the Razer Barracuda and Barracuda Pro will not receive a code since they are both Synapse 3.0-supported devices. I’ll be locking this thread now.
