Razer Barracuda not showing up on synapse.

So I have a very weird situation.

I recently bought the Razer Barracuda headset (not Pro or X) and Synapse refuses to find them. I can connect the headphones to the PC no problem, with cable and without, but to the Synapse app it’s like they don’t exist.

I updated Synapse to the newest version, restarted my PC multiple times, connected headset with cable and without in different ports, tried installing and using the drives that are meant for the headset (they didn’t recognize the headset either) and also tried connecting the headset to the mobile app (didn’t connect to the app but connected to the phone). NOTHING WORKS.

And to add to the issue of the headphones being practically invisible to the Razer apps and drives, I can’t register it as a device on my profile either.

I tried searching for fixes online and all I see is support telling people with similar issues to do the things I already tried. 

If ANYONE has a fix to my problem (even if it’s to return them and just never buy them again) PLEASE, GIVE ME THE SOLUTION! I’M ON MY KNEES, BEGGING!

I have never had any issues with Razer before and I am losing it over these headphones. I’m too poor for this...

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I recently purchased the product, but it seems to be plagued with problems. Both the Android app and Synapse software are completely ineffective. Despite trying numerous solutions provided by support and those I found online, nothing has resolved the issue. I am utterly disappointed—this is, without a doubt, the worst product I have ever purchased.

I am having a lot of problems connecting mine too and am at a loss bro. This is an unreasonable way to treat people that invest in your brand.

I also face the same issue. Looks like Synapse 4 have bug that razer havent fix the issue with barracuda headset.

Until they fix , install synapse 3 and pair your barracuda headset. it will work.

Same thing with the Barracuda Pro.  When using the dongle, Synapse 4 will display the headset in the dashboard.  However, when pairing to bluetooth, Synapse 4 will not display the headset in the dashboard.  Reading the few post on this issue, it seems to be a Synapse 4 problem and not a headset problem.

I’ve installed the razer synapse just to know the battery level and I stumbled with this issue.

I still can’t believe razer is charging a premium price to offer worst service than waaaay cheaper items.

And the funny thing is they show to be compatible on:

Same here. It doesn’t show on either Synapse 3 and 4. I also connected it to my phone - both with the dongle and bluetooth and the mobile app cannot find it. Did you guys find a fix or should I just return them after the holidays and go with another brand ?

Everyone have this problem… after alot of research I finaly found that Synapse also does not support Baracuda X. It just can’t for some reason. It is not a bug, it was made that way. 

Every other model of Baracuda supports synapse… but not the X… some say because it is the “cheap” version Razer did not include the connection 😅 
Some time ago Razer did listed that Synapse 3 supports Baracuda 3… someone made a screenshot of the list… but then they deleted it from the list… insted of maybe fixing it they just deleted it from the list 🤣

So bottom line… THERE IS NO SOLUTION. Synapse (3,4...) does not support Baracuda X.

It supports only Baracuda (regular), Baracuda Pro and Baracuda X Chroma.

So yes… this is my third product from Razer that dissapointed me… so I am slowly swiching to another company. They just don't care… they are considered a good brand, so alot of people buy from them.
