razer barracuda usb c

My dongle only works when I connect it using the adapter for the regular usb and I’d like to connect it to the computer directly through the usbc port but I can’t figure out how. The headset turns on and connects to the dongle but when I try to switch the audio and microphone to the headset it doesn’t pop up. I know I can just use the adapter but I’d really rather not need that. I don’t see it in my device manager either.
