razer barracuda x 2022 external microphone

Hi,
I am having an issue with my Razer Barracuda X (Model: RZ04-04430100). When I unplug the detachable 3.5mm boom microphone, I cannot use any alternative microphone. I want to unplug the boom mic when I am outdoors or streaming and use the headset's built-in/internal microphone instead.
However, the moment I unplug the external mic, my voice completely disappears. Windows and my phone still recognize the headset as having a microphone, but it captures absolutely no sound.
I need an urgent solution or guidance on how to fix this issue. Thank you.
