I bought this a little over a month ago, been working amazingly except tonight, context: The headset is connected to my pc via the dongle and was charging through the usb-c cable connected to my pc for over a day. I accidentally turned it off while using it (holding down the power button, while still charging through my pc) and i heard the “power off” audio, then it happened, nothing, the headset wont turn on, wont charge, wont connect on Bluetooth or anything. There is no light on the led. When i try to turn it on (holding down the power button) nothing happens, no light or any audio.

I have the same problem, mine charges but doesnt turn on anymore with just 5 months of use

A common problem to all Barracuda X models but Razer refuses to provide guarantee

Nope, Razor warranty is shit, I’m currently using this with cable, but I’ll eventually buy a Logitech G535 or G733.

Logitech has a 2-year warranty and doesn’t make excuses to replace broken devices.

I’m going to assume this is still an issue?  I’m having the exact same problem.  Anyone had any luck?

I’ve found a solution that worked for me!
You need to go to mysupport.razer.com and search for "Barracuda X Firmware Updater" and click the one that matches your model.

After downloading the updater, you need to follow its instructions, and specifically when it says you need to power up the headset (which is the problem in the current state), you need to plug the headset using a cable directly to your computer (I’ve used type C to type C but I guess just normal USB to type C would work as well). While connected, I actually managed to power up my headset!

So after powering up the headset, you need to finish the update, follow the final two instructions (disconnecting the headset from the cable as well), and you should be able to power it up!
Hope this works for more people, since I was actually really frustrated when it happened to me at first, but so glad It worked for me!
