Razer Barracuda X audio and mic problems

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help and my questions are not utterly stupid.

So, I was always pleased with Razer products, but my last headset (Kraken V3) broke after years of extensive use, so i chose to buy the Razer Barracuda X. I connected it to my PC via dongle and then the problems started. I selected it in my sound settings with what i assumed was the new headset (it only appeared as USB Audio 1.0) and whenever I hear a sound it has a massive delay of about 1 second, which is not just annoying but makes gaming practically impossible. Then i hopped on a call with a friend on discord and he said my mic sounded so terrible I had to switch to my phone for better quality. 

PS: My PC also only sees the microphone as USB Audio 1.0.

I have the exact same problem. Is there anyone who have an idea to solve this ?

It’s been 4 mounth and there is no reply :/

Are you referring to the Barracuda X’s microphone?  If yes, is this the RZ04-03800 (2021) or RZ04-04430 (2022) version? Did you try connecting your headset to another USB port or PC? Is the mic faint while connected to your 3.5mm combo jack (wired connection)? Please try the recommendations here and see how it goes.
