Razer Barracuda X Chroma Disconnecting

I got this headset a few weeks ago and this has been an issue for the entire time.
I had a barracuda before this that didn’t have this issue, but it was just an X, no chroma.

The headset will disconnect as soon as I walk some distance from my computer and then beep twice, it will connect again when I approach my computer. It is advertised to have a much longer range, and the older model I used to use didn’t have this issue. It is connected to my PC via the usb connector it came with. It also sometimes disconnects randomly when I am at my computer and not moving away. It also for some reason causes my chroma profile to reset, as it visually changes color on my keyboard and mouse when it disconnects.

Help is appreciated.
