Razer Barracuda x chroma MULTIPLE VERY IRRITATING ISSUES

  1. The biggest issue Im facing right now is that when I click on the 7.1 Surround sound output device it plays no audio at all Im forced to use the default option, it worked properly for 2 weeks and all of a sudden it just stopped working, I have a legit license that came with the headphones too. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app already and it worked for a day or two but again today its giving me no sound when I use the 7.1 output device.
  2. The mic always resets to 0 volume every time I turn the headphones off for the night I have to launch the fuckass app filled with bloatware.
  3. The base audio of these headphones are genuinely dogshit you HAVE to make a custom eq profile AND turn on surround sound which doesnt work half the time just to have the middest audio experience, so PLEASE for the love of god tune your headphones better by default

I can go on and on about the issues I have because the software is genuinely so incompetent I always end up opening the synapse app when all I want to do is use my headphones normally, but I dont want this to turn into “Why to not buy a razer product” review. The least you could do is resolve my issues 1 & 2 ASAP.

    I bought one of these headsets because when I demoed it in the store I bought it from, I was under the impression that it sounded good and that it would work equally as good.

     

    I am somewhat of an audiofile and I like quality in my headset, even if I’m using it for gaming. as a totally blind user and sometimes gamer, I’ve found a few things lacking as well. sometimes your software glitches, there’s no way to disable the inbuilt noise canceling, the bluetooth is not, symoltanious and personally that’s something I would use. I have a JBL quantum810 here and that headset aside from it’s own, inbuilt noise canceling, is a better performer in that regard. I would like a way to disable the inbuilt noise gate in order to improve my audio on voip services, other than those in whatever in game chat is available. I would like to be able to EQ and taylor the mic to suit my voie, and this is as yet impossible. I have looked for week to be able to do this with the razer baracuta chroma.

     

    I’m not about to diss you like the initial complainant did, however, could you please improve the quality of your software, add that afforementioned customisability, oh, and please, could you see your way clear toward making your software easier to use by people that are totally blind? I, for one would greatly appreciate it, as I’m would then recommend others to purchase your hardware, knowing they can use the software and get all they can, much less want out of it.
