Razer Base Station Chroma Quartz keeps shutting down

I have a new Base Station Chroma (NOT v2) and a new Razer Kraken Kitty USB headset. The problem is that my Base Station keeps shutting down, which turns my headset off too. As I use this for work, it's not ideal. How do I fix this problem? Help please. Thanks, Deb
