Razer Basilik X Hyperspeed Mouse not Compatible with Macbook Air

So I recently purchased a Razer Basilik X Hyperspeed Mouse from Amazon. It came, everything seemed great, I went to download Razer Synapse to mess with the sensitivity, map the extra buttons, etc. I downloaded it and followed all of the steps, including restarting my MacBook Air 2017 twice, but now whenever I open it the message reads "Please connect a compatible Razer Synapse device." Does this mean that I'll need to use Razer Synapse on my iPhone or windows laptop, or is there something else I can do to fix this? Thanks!
