I ordered my Razer Basilisk Ultimate mouse from Amazon a couple days ago and got it yesterday, but when I first connected the device to the PC, the left and right mouse buttons wouldn’t register. Everything else worked flawlessly. I have searched through the existing forums for possible answers, and tried everything the popular fix of updating the firmware to no avail. However, I finally came across a post on uninstalling the Razer Software and deleting the device drivers. Upon deleting the software and device drivers, Windows attempted to re-install the driver for the ultimate and after that the buttons worked! However, this was only temporary, as 2-3 hours into the use of the mouse, the left and right mouse buttons have gone non-responsive once again, and the driver re-installation isn’t working anymore. Any last ditch efforts before I send this back to Amazon?

So literally right after posting this, in a last ditch effort I tried using the mouse in the configuration where the dongle is connected via the charging cable and using the mouse in wireless mode. And like magic, it started working again. I’ll update this once this fix also goes out the window, but fingers crossed this is my last update.
UPDATE: Nevermind, the issue came back once again after 2.5 hours of use…
