Razer Basilisk Ultimate not charging on Dock

My mouse doesn’t charge at all when its on the dock. Most of the time it wont even recognize that its on the dock but sometimes  it will flash but thats it. Even if i can get it to recognize its on the dock and say its charging in synapse it wont charge at all. My mouse charges fine without the dock. I’ve done everything i can think of to fix it, update windows, update drivers, update synapse, clean the pins and the mouse. My devices are out of warranty so im not sure what to do

I’m here to help. I understand that your Razer Basilisk Ultimate is not charging properly via the mouse charging dock. Please perform additional steps below to further isolate the issue.

1. Ensure all connections (USB from the dock to the computer, power supply) are secure. Sometimes a loose connection can cause these issues.

2. Make sure the charging contacts on both the dock and the mouse are clean. You've cleaned them already, so also check for any visible damage or wear.

  1. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove larger debris from the pogo pins and the contact surface.
  2. Clean the body of your mouse using a lint-free microfiber cloth. Wipe the surface of your mouse gently but thoroughly.

3. Try plugging the dock into a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes ports can have issues or provide insufficient power.

4. If possible, test with a different USB cable to rule out any cable issues.

5. If you have access to another computer, test the dock and mouse there to see if the issue persists.

Since your devices are out of warranty, these troubleshooting steps might help determine if the issue is with the dock itself. If the problem persists, and considering the mouse charges fine without the dock, it might be a hardware failure with the dock. All the best!
