Hi everyone,

I've been using my Razer Basilisk Ultimate without any issues until recently. Now, when I plug it in via cable, it lights up and is detected by my PC, but it doesn't work. In Razer Synapse, the mouse keeps disappearing and reappearing.

I've already tried:

  • Using a different USB port
  • Restarting my PC
  • Checking the Device Manager (no error signs)
  • Reinstalling Razer Synapse

I also tried updating the firmware, but the software requires the mouse to be connected via cable. Since the mouse stops working when I plug it in, I can't proceed with the update.

Nothing seems to fix the issue. Has anyone experienced this before or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I just started having the exact same issue. I’m wondering if it’s related to a recent Synapse update or something.

i have the same issue i deleted the razer synapse and the wired mouse went back to work again but with the Synapse is ON the mouse doesn't work with wire

they need to fix this issue !!

Having the same issue. Just started today.

I found this thread that seems to have resolved this issue for me.

This is an absolute joke that this has not been fixed. It basically forcing me to buy a new mouse because I cant charge it. Appalling that such a big brand like Razer haven’t said a word about htis problem even though it is effecting so many people.

just uninstalled razer synapse and that fixed it for me, must be a problem with synapse itself but fixes the problem for now

I tried uninstalling synapse and the problem was not resolved. Whenever i plug it in Via Cable in device manager it says that 2/3 driver failed its initialization call (code 37), not sure if yall see the same issue.

Hey guys,

If you’re still experiencing the issue with your mice, please send me a PM with your Synapse logs which will help our team in their investigation. You can upload them to any hosting service like Google Drive and provide us a shareable link. Just check the file so that anyone with the link can view it.
