Razer Basilisk Ultimate Scroll Wheel Issue

I got a Razer Basilisk Ultimate as a gift, and the scroll wheel has recently become faulty

 

When I scroll down, sometimes the scroll is not registered, sometimes it scrolls down multiple ticks, and sometimes it scrolls in the opposite direction.

 

I have unplugged and plugged in the mouse and the port, I have bought a can of compressed air and blown into the mouse wheel many times, but the mouse wheel is not working still. 

 

Please advise.

Try updating your mouse’s firmware. You can also reinstall its drivers. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.
