Hi,

I have recently purchased a Razer Basilisk V3 35K White mouse. Initially, it was working perfectly, however, after just one day the mouse wheel is not working. I have tried all the suggested solutions:

  • Uninstalled and reinstalled Razer Synapse 4 software
  • Unpaired and repaired the mouse
  • Tried connecting it physically, via bluetooth, and also on 2.4ghz
  • Tried rebooting the mouse (pressing LB/Mouse Wheel/RB buttons together for 7 seconds)

Please suggest what I should do and why is this issue coming up on a brand new mouse?

Best,

Max

Hello Mallikarjun_Ganesh,

I understand you’re experiencing an issue with the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K scroll wheel not working as expected. To help isolate the problem, please confirm:

  • Does the issue persist in all modes: Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired?
  • Is there any noticeable physical damage to the device?
  • Does the issue occur without Razer Synapse installed?

To isolate the problem, please perform the following steps:

1.Inspect the mouse wheel for any physical obstruction or damage (look for gaps, debris, or a loose wheel).
2.Connect the mouse directly to the PC, bypassing any USB hub.
3.Close all Razer apps and software to determine if a software conflict is causing the issue.
Razer Synapse on the system tray

4.If closing Razer Synapse fixes the issue,  reinstall your mouse drivers and perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse.
5.Test the mouse on another PC to see if the issue persists there.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to send me a PM with your mouse’s serial number and more details about the issue so I can check for other workarounds. Thank you!
