I have had this Razer Basilisk v3 pro mouse for about a year now. The middle mouse click has never worked. I hear it clicking just fine when I press it. I have reinstalled all the razer apps. I have a razer ornata chroma and the mousepad and the only reason I installed any of the apps was to sync all the RGB together (doesn’t really work, but that’s another issue (also wants to constantly try optimizing programs and my PC, but really just feels like bloatware)). I feel like the apps have caused more problems than anything. I ignored the issue with the middle mouse button for a really long time because I didn’t want to accept that razer products have become this poor quality. I just recently found time to play red dead redemption 2 because I work a lot and haven’t had time to enjoy my computer for the past few years. I can’t progress in the game because I’m on a part where it wants me to click middle mouse to clean the shotgun, and it’s impossible to move my character until I do. I rarely stream, but it ruined my twitch and youtube streams that I was doing because I had to end them. I have other computer mouses by logitech and steel series, but I really don’t want to sacrifice the comfortability of the razer basilisk for superior reliability because those hurt my wrist after prolonged use. Plus this mouse cost considerably more than the ones that work correctly. To sum things up, I have all the razer apps installed, I’ve reset the profile and keybinds on the mouse, I’ve tried exiting all the apps and using it like a caveman with all the razer products lighting up different colors, I’ve even reinstalled the apps and updated the mouse firmware. Any advice (aside from using another brand mouse) would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance!
