Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Scroll Wheel Causing Beeping Noise

I am having an issue with my Basilisk V3 Pro’s scroll wheel, the same as described in this post about the Basilisk V4 Pro. I tried all the mitigation steps that person tried, and similarly had no luck. The only differences being that closing Synapse does not seem to affect any part of the beeping or system lag, but enabling free scrolling did a little bit.

    Sorry you are still seeing this after trying the earlier steps, since that rules out a lot of the usual fixes. One thing worth checking is whether the beep changes with the scroll speed or only with very fast scrolling, and whether it also happens when the mouse is connected to a different computer or a different USB port. If it follows the mouse to another PC, that points more toward the hardware or firmware, so I would also make sure Synapse is fully updated and try a clean reinstall of the mouse driver. If it still happens after that, it is worth raising it with Razer Support with a short recording, so they can check whether it is a known fault.
