I’ve reinstalled both synapse and the device drivers multiple times. The scroll wheel doesn’t have any response, and occasionally the left click no longer works.

Please bear with me for a bit. Can you reset your mouse via Synapse by following the steps from this link and check if the issue continues? Please also send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and look for troubleshooting steps that might address the scroll wheel issue you're currently experiencing.
