I am experiencing an issue with the tactile scroll mode on my Razer Basilisk V3. When using the mouse in tactile mode, I can still hear a metal pin or component moving inside the device. Typically, there is some resistance during the first second of scrolling, but this resistance disappears shortly afterward and does not return unless I switch to free-spin mode and then back to tactile mode.
Additionally, when I spin the scroll wheel quickly in tactile mode, I can hear the internal component moving so something is switching between free spin and tactile.
I am on firmware version 1.0.3.0
To troubleshoot, I have already attempted the following steps without success:
-
Factory reset the mouse
-
Restarted Razer Synapse
-
Rebooted my PC
-
Tried different USB ports
-
Updated razer Synapse
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Please let me know if further information or diagnostics are required.
