Razer Basilisk V3 x Hyperspeed no exact firmware

I have been using the Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed for about a year now, and all of a sudden it keeps disconnecting. The mouse constantly changes colors — blue, orange, purple — and I honestly have no idea what’s going on.

I tried searching online for possible troubleshooting steps. One suggestion was to download the latest firmware, but there is no firmware available specifically for the Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed, so the installer won’t even let me proceed.

It’s incredibly frustrating because I’ve seen many similar complaints and reviews online about this exact issue, yet it doesn’t seem like Razer has provided a clear fix or solution up to now.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? If so, what actually fixed it for you? I’d really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps that worked.

Hi Brasscoolheat360,

I’ve responded to your message. Please check your inbox and follow steps below:

  1. Make sure your mouse is fully charged, as low battery levels can cause connection issues.
  2. Connect the USB dongle directly to the PC and ensure there's a clear line of sight between the mouse and the dongle.
  3. Close all Razer apps and software to see if a particular application is causing the issue.
  4. If closing Razer Synapse resolves the problem, proceed to reinstall your mouse drivers and perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse.
  5. Try using your mouse on another computer to check if the issue persists.

Thank you for your cooperation.
