Hi. i bought this mouse like 6 months ago and now scroll wheel is jumping all over the place. It’s not usable. I can’t scroll up or down because whole website jumps up and down. What should i do? Software is not the issue. I tried to reinstall, clean install, uninstall at all, nothing is helping.

Hi TinyTony420,

I’m here to help. When did the issue start occurring? Is there any noticeable physical damage to the device? Were there any incidents with your mouse prior to the issue? Is the scroll wheel hard to turn or stuck in a certain way? Does the issue persist with the Razer Synapse closed or disabled? To isolate the problem, please perform the steps below:

  1. Please use a can of compressed air to gently blow away dirt under the affected button.
  2. Make sure that the mouse is connected directly to your computer and not to a USB hub.
  3. If it's already connected directly to the computer, try a different USB port.
  4. Let’s check if any software is causing the issue. Try to close or disable Razer Synapse and observe if the issue persists.
  5. If the issue persists without Synapse, try to uninstall the mouse drivers here.
  6. Test your mouse on another PC and verify if the issue still exists.

If the same problem persists, PM me the device serial number and proof of purchase, video of the issue so I can check for replacement options. Save the shareable files via any online drive account listed in this link. All the best!
