I bought a brand-new 200$ black shark v2 pro 2023 and it won't get recognized by synapse. I have tried everything i could find online about this issue it would seem im not the only one with this issue. all attempts to download the firmware update failed as the updater does not recognize the headset at all i have tried disabling antivirus software repairing files installing all the razer apps that are related to this headset uninstalling synapse and reinstalling i even updated to windows 11 all the work arounds i have seen don't work what are my options i have been buying razer products for years and love them this is such a sad and frustrating experience is there any solution ? it would seem this issue is not uncommon and should have been delt with months ago.

If both yes, then I’d do clean Synapse reinstall:
- Uninstall Synapse
- Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
- Then restart your PC
- After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Try to double tap EQ button on your right ear, it switches between bluetooth/dongle connection. Your headset might be set on bluetooth via default.
I have been having the same issue. I just got this headphones 8 months ago and it worked for 2 months and then Synapse wasn’t recognizing it anymore, suddenly 2 months later there was an update for synapse 3 which is the one that I use and it fixed the problem. 3 weeks ago the problem came back and now they are useless. I have tried everything. I am not a gamer and I only use it for work thru Discord but no gaming at all. I would never recommend this product to anybody. I made a mistake buying this
The razer black shark headset, have its own program for Xbox or pc. It can be downloaded from the windows store on either pc or Xbox. It’s called razer audio.

Bought this headset couple months back and also have this problem. Tried everything but no matter what synapse version i install non of them can find the headset. This headset purchase has been nothing but headaches, stear clear
Turn off Bluetooth on your PC, the Headset will connect to your Computers Bluetooth rather than the Dongle, hence why it isn’t showing in Synapse. Frustrating work around especially if you have a Leviathan Soundbar or something.
